“In Quebec, every year more than 26,000 women opt for a termination of pregnancy (TOP) (ISQ, 2011). As part of their role, nurses may be called on to provide support for these women. (…) The authors (of this text) were interested in knowing more about both the limiting and facilitative beliefs held by nurses practicing in the context of TOP. They conducted a qualitative study with ten nurses.”
